Aneesh Varma

About

I’m a founder and engineer. Over the past twenty years or so I’ve started four companies, mostly at the intersection of finance and software.

I studied engineering at Lehigh University, with a focus on algorithms and mathematical models. That led to my first job at JPMorgan in New York, and in my early twenties I moved to London to start companies.

Most of what I know about starting them I learned the hard way, and from the many founders who were generous with their experience. The companies are on the Work page, and I’m now building TALOS.

I grew up as a third-culture kid, moving between countries, and I still think of myself as one. Outside work I fly as a pilot and remain an engineer at heart.

The best way to reach me is on LinkedIn.

Talks

I occasionally speak and join panels on starting companies. Message me on LinkedIn with the audience and date.
